Hi Hi,
This is just a quick post to let you know that I have now added a book review policy (work in progress as I’m sure I’ll change it as I go along) to my blog.
As you probably guessed by now, I blog because I want to and because I genuinely enjoy reading (and drinking tea). I don’t get paid or compensated in any way for blogging and I certainly don’t set out to beg for things to review. I’m not a professional reader by any stretch of the imagination and do not hold myself out to be. Therefore, my way of doing things on my blog may be different to those who review as a profession! I would love to post 20 reviews a month and have a constant stream of them on here but with a full-time job and a life offline, this is not always possible – after all, this is my hobby.
I’ve never felt the need to clarify this before but after a recent experience, feel that I should. I hope that for as long as books are being written and I am able to read and blog, that I will continue to do so 🙂

Great idea, I have a submissions page which details similar things. It definitely means that only those who will respect your wishes on what to review and where/when will ask you for reviews :). And never let your hobby become a chore, we bloggers are doing it for free and it should remain fun otherwise it would probably show in the way we write our reviews

There are no set rules for book blogging/reviewing. Everyone has their own way and timing. You just do you!
