Hello there!
I hope you’ve been enjoying the various TED Talks that I’ve been sharing with you, but have also felt inspired enough to rummage around in the TED ether for some stimulating, engaging and educational content!
Today’s talk is from Susan Cain, author of Quiet, a book that totally changed the way I viewed myself and other introverts. I’d also recommend that you read it if you are interested in social psychology.
Enjoy!
Would you consider yourself to be introverted, extroverted or a little of each?
This is great. Thank you for sharing. I found this interesting, thought provoking and useful. I think I am somewhere in the middle. Susan makes some great points about the value of introverts, learning and the workplace.

I’m glad you enjoyed it Debra 🙂 I’d like to think I’m somewhere in the middle too. You should read her book too if you have time!

I agree with the above comment… I don’t think I’d have listened to this if it hadn’t have been here. Quite an interesting piece to listen to, I’d say I’m in the middle too or perhaps that’s we’d all like to say I don’t know. I’m happy to work on my own in the workplace but I also value peoples opinions. Often I prefer to bounce ideas between a couple of colleagues before I venture further.

I’m glad that you were able to listen in then Kitty! 🙂 I’m happy to listen to an array of opinions before I voice my own unless I feel particularly strongly about a certain thing.
